The theme of the conference is “Infectious Diseases Prevention, Control and Cure”.

This event will provide an opportunity for attendees from Infectious Diseases Associations and Societies, Medical Device Manufacturing Companies, Drug Manufacturing Companies, Medical Colleges and Pharmaceutical Companies to exchange experiences and share research findings on all aspects of infection prevention and control. It will also offer an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends, challenges, and solutions in the field of infection prevention and control.

Infection control is required to prevent the transmission of communicable diseases in all healthcare settings. It requires a basic understanding of epidemiology of diseases, risk factors that increase patient susceptibility to infections, and the practices, procedures, and treatments that may lead to infections. The risk of acquiring a healthcare-associated infection is influenced by the mode of transmission of the infectious agent (e.g., CRE, CDI, MRSA, SSI, etc.), the type of patient-care activity or procedure being performed, and the patient's underlying immune defenses.

When we look at the worldwide deaths due to Infectious Diseases the conference get significance on some diseases like Tetanus (50,000), measles (150,000), Malaria (700,000), hepatitis b (1 million), diarrhoea (800,000), tuberculosis (1.5 million), HIV/AIDS (1 million) and respiratory Infections (4 million).

IPC 2026 will provide a unique forum for participants to exchange knowledge and experience in the prevention of healthcare-associated infections and control of antimicrobial resistance around the world.
